Note: If you are not signed in already, then you may be asked to sign in to your Office/Microsoft account. Make sure that this account is the same with which you purchased your Microsoft 365 subscription.
In the same way, you can download and install as many Office applications as you want based on their availability.
- The process to access Office apps online
If you find out that your Chrome device does not have a Play Store on it, then you are suggested to use the preferred Office apps online. These online applications come with full functionality as the Office setup software that you download on your device. All you need to do is navigate to the Chrome Web Store and get the extension to use Office online.
As soon as you open this extension, it gives you the ability to create Word documents, PowerPoint presentations, and more directly from your Chrome web browser. Else, go to office.com/setup, sign in to your account, and then add Office apps to your device for easy access. In addition to that, if you need Office only to create documents, then you can use its alternative as well. To serve this purpose, you can use Google Docs instead of Word which has similar features in it. Also, you can use it without having to purchase a Microsoft 365 subscription.
